Journey
I am an undergraduate in Ecology, Evolution and Conservation Biology at The University of British Columbia – Okanagan, with a minor in Data Science. My honours thesis investigates the genomic architecture of deep-spawning ecotype in kokanee salmon. I also teach introductory biostatistics.
I hope to pursue a PhD on how phenotypic diversity originates and comes to be distributed across the tree of life, drawing on macroevolution, systematics, phylogenetics, biogeography, and paleobiology. In the long run, I want to become a curator at a natural history museum, combining science, education, and community.
